Description: The Urban Land Institute (ULI) will host a media webinar to release findings from a new ULI research publication, Housing in America: The Baby Boomers Turn 65. Join the 60-minute session as report author John McIlwain, ULI’s senior resident fellow for housing, discusses the report and moderates a response panel of ULI real estate experts.

Session highlights will include:
  • An analysis of how aging baby boomers, the Silent Generation and the Greatest generation are posing new opportunities and challenges for the housing industry
  • Implications of aging in place, creating "naturally occurring retirement communities"
  • Highlights on the outlook for master-planned communities as housing needs and preferences shift for older Americans
  • How suburbs and urban neighborhoods will adapt to accommodate the lifestyles of a growing population of older residents in various stages of retirement
